Our Weekend Markets

Everybody agrees that we have an incredible spot for a market.  And we agree with everybody.  It has everything.  Location, accessibility, parking, unlimited potential.

What we haven't figured out in two years, however, is how to make everybody happy, so we decided that instead of trying to do the impossible, our biggest quest should be to make everything about our markets as easy as humanly possible for everybody involved.

So now it is.  No sign-ups, no getting on a vendor list, no weather cancellations, no commitments, no worrying about having to cancel and ask for a refund if you wake up sick.

Any vendor is welcome at any market as long as you follow the steps outlined below.  And the community will find it hard to resist stopping by every market because you just never know what kinds of treasures might show up this week.

There are just SOOOO many vendors out there doing so many cool things - and most of them are not "professional" vendors.  We want to be a market that is just as welcoming to a newbie as we are to a seasoned vet.  So come join us.  You don't even have to ask permission.

**Important note before you read about joining our vendor or yard sale markets.  The Finch-Lee House has two businesses on site that will prohibit some vendors from participating if they sell competing items.

SOUTHERN CHILL sells smoothies, milkshakes, frappes, and Italian Icey's.  The only drinks that can be sold by a vendor are lemonade or soda.

The FINCH-LEE HOUSE has beer and wine permits.  No vendor-provided alcoholic beverages can be sold at any of our markets.

FAQ's About All Markets

When do I complete the vendor or yard sale seller agreement?

Now.  If you plan to participate in either market at any point, go ahead and do it.  When you arrive for either market, we will check to see that you have completed it, and since you can't participate without it, please go ahead and do it.  But PLEASE read it!!

Where do I park to unload all my stuff?

In most cases, we allow driving in the front yard, but you should be prepared for a scenario where you cannot.  If there has been a recent rain, or if there are simply too many vehicles in the font yard, it might be necessary to park in the spaces off of the Cleveland Road entrance or in the parking lot off of the McLemore Rd entrance and walk your stuff to your booth space.

Where do I park AFTER I've unloaded all my stuff?

All vendors - and ANY vehicle driven by someone who may be helping you at your booth - MUST park at the "Football Lot" next door to The Finch-Lee House.  We want LOTS of customers to come to our markets, and we want them to have ALL the convenient parking.  We are VERY serious about this rule.

Do I need a tent, tables, chairs, etc for my booth space?

We do not supply any of that stuff.  We supply a vendor space only.  Tents are not required, but we strongly recommend them.  They not only help with shade, vendors with tents simply look more professional.  We also recommend really focusing on what your space looks like to customers.  Think about it this way.  Have you ever walked into a store simply because the front window looked nice?  Customers will not go to a vendor booth if they cannot tell what you sell by walking past, and they won't stop if your "front window" isn't appealing.

What is the size of each vendor booth?

Each space will be approximately 12 x 12, but the largest allowable tent is the typical 10' x 10' pop-up tent.

Is there electricity access that vendors can use?

If you require electricity, you will have to supply it.  If you need enough electricity that it will require a generator, only the quieter "inverter" style generators are allowed.

Can I play music or otherwise create loud noises from

my booth?

We plan to have music playing in such a location that it does not create areas of the market where some vendors have to speak louder to customers while others do not.  In other words, the music we play at markets (should we decide to do so at every market) will be provided by Finch-Lee House and not vendors.

Is there a smoking section at these markets?

The smoking section is behind the pine trees in the area reserved for vendor parking.

I own a food truck.  Can I set up at these markets?

All food truck requests should go through Denton Lee at dentonleeiii@gmail.com.

I have a question that was not answered on this page OR in the vendor / yard sale seller agreements.

If you have a question that has not been answered on this page or in the vendor / yard sale agreements, you can email finchleevendors@gmail.com.
